About

Our city's finest chefs partner with farmers and local vineyards and Seeds in the Middle for extraordinary  culinary events. We started outdoors with  exquisite delicacies using locally grown seasonal delights on the plaza outside Brooklyn's Borough Hall. Top chefs, mixologists, bakers and artisans offer sumptuous fare,  all to empower our highest-need children to get healthy.  Sample delicious cuisine without stressing over a reservation - while supporting a worthy cause.

Join us for our neighborhood food crawls, like the Carroll Gardens-Cobble Hill Food Fests. Take a stroll in a unique, historic corner of Brooklyn and taste fine food and drink right at the doors of the local food establishments. Don't forget about our children's cooking classes and the Gowanus Holiday Flea Market, a new venture to promote local business, artisans, artists and creators while doing good.

All proceeds benefit Seeds in the Middle, a non profit organization located in the heart of Brooklyn that aims to inspire social change through sustainable health.  Seeds in the Middle inspires parents, educators, students, and their community to access all the opportunities and beauty New York City has to offer, beginning with taking control of their health, enhancing arts education, and greening their environment.

Seeds in the Middle has many facets and programs including:
